Kosmos

Kosmos
Kosmos is a thief who works miracles. He appears as if from nowhere on the outskirts of a snow swept timeless border town, to rescue a local boy from drowning in the river. He is hailed as a miracle worker and the town’s local men folk go out of their way to make him feel at home.

Kosmos is an unusual man. He doesn't appear to eat or sleep and scales trees with animal like ability. When it becomes clear that he would rather steal than work to repay the hospitality they have shown him, the locals soon start to tire of their most recent inhabitant.  He rustles some more feathers when he declares that he is looking for love, setting his sights on the beautiful sister of the boy he saved. He begins a bizarre animalistic courtship with the young woman, involving bird calling from trees and rooftops.

Despite being weary of Kosmos's bizarre behavior, they cannot fail but notice his special talent at curing the ill and many seek his magic powers. The villagers turn on him however when a young boy, who’s muteness he had cured, dies. Kosmos has no choice but to flee the town and head back in to the wilderness from where he came.
