Arrow Films release 'I Wish' in UK Cinemas

On Friday 8th February 2013, Arrow Films release Japanese director Hirokazu Koreeda's latest film in cinemas.

I Wish tells the story of two brothers, Ryu and Koichi, who have been separated by divorce. Koichi lives in the coastal city of Kagoshima with his mother and grandparents, whilst Ryu stays with his deadbeat musician dad in urban Kyushu. The Kyushu trainline connecting these two cities is nearing completion and Koichi hears a rumour that when the first two trains pass each other a miracle will occur and wishes will be granted to all those who witness it. With this in mind, the brothers set out with a plan to reuinte their family.
