Filmed over an eleven-year period and narrated by Smith herself, Patti Smith: Dream of Life provides a warm and impressionistic portrait of an artist who, from her 1975 debut album Horses onwards, has managed to consistently alter and redefine the cultural landscape.
The full-length feature directorial debut of artist and photgrapher Steven Sebring, the film offers an intimate glimpse into the philosophy and artistry of legendary singer, artist and poet Patti Smith.
